The First Light Suite
The Orion Suite
The Star of the North Suite
Adytum Sanctuary offers three romantic options: The Orion Suite alone or The Orion Suite and adjoining First Light Suite combined into a double suite, and the Star of the North Suite.
All suites have private entrances, private courtyards or decks with gas BBQs and outdoor dining options, and stunning views of Lake Mayfield and surrounds. The Orion Suite and Star of the North Suite both have gas fireplaces and plenty of space. First Light is a petite suite suited best for single travelers or long-term stays in the case of traveling healthcare professionals.
The Orion Suite is approximately 950 sq. ft. with a Queen sized and a full sized Tempur-Pedic bed, $225 per night with a two-night minimum. If you need a one-night stay, please text or call 360-790-2011. There is an additional $50 fee for use of suites for one night.
The large bathroom has a double-tiled shower, and is luxuriously appointed with honey onyx vessel sink, granite, and travertine floor, and bidet. Little touches include magnifying mirrors, lighting options, all-natural amenities, and plush robes. Linens are lovingly hand-pressed.
A stocked kitchenette with a medium-sized refrigerator has a variety of cooking implements that will enable you to enjoy several meals in-suite and an herb and salad garden right outside (in season). Enjoy Lake Mayfield views and the Cowlitz and Tilton Rivers flowing in around Ike Kinswa State Park from your private courtyard or under the pergola. The vineyard and koi pond are right outside your door.
Combined with The First Light Suite, a condo-style apartment with its own private East-garden entrance, this beautiful double suite sleeps 4-5, $420 per night with a two-night minimum. Wake to the light of a new dawn replete with cheerful birdsong in this elegantly appointed antique and fine art suite, including original artwork; it could double as a gallery. A scrumptiously comfortable Tempur-Pedic bed wrapped in a brass bedstead and flat screen TV and handmade Tibetan rugs on rustic alder wood floors complete the luxurious ambiance.
Peaceful serenity defines the private steam sauna with eucalyptus oil. Set in an Asian-themed alcove complete with hand carved dragons, original Chinese art, and silk hangings, it invites rest, indulgence, and relaxation. Wrap up in a chamois robe and enjoy a glass of wine on your private patio to savor the moment afterwards.
The private powder room is luxuriously appointed with honey onyx vessel sink, antique court cupboard, a bidet, and fine art by Don Hatfield.
The Star of the North Suite is a 1,200 sq ft, two-bedroom apartment; $325 per night with a two-night minimum. If you need a one-night stay, please text or call 360-790-2011. There is an additional $50 fee for use of suites for one night. The second bedroom is magical with an antique bedstead and full-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress. The gorgeous waterfall in the Eastern Garden will lull you to sleep. Linens are lovingly hand-pressed.
Two flights of stairs bring you to the private entrance through French doors. This magical suite is high in the canopy of the ancient fir and maple forest, a Lebanese Cedar reaching over the private deck; a fantasy of light, elegance, and timeless beauty with its angled ceilings, dark hand-scraped alder floor, and old-world style walls.
Breakfast on your private deck with seasonal grape kiwi and figs growing within reach. Through one of eleven windows, follow the flight of the birds, survey the gardens, Koi Pond, and Lake Mayfield, Tilton River, and Cowlitz River, and mountains in the distance. As in every Suite, the territorial views from every window are quite simply breathtaking. World travel and fine art, Venice in particular, defines The Star of the North suite.
Encompassing four rooms in all: two bedrooms and an antechamber with sunset views of the Lake, invite private dining or an evening of playing games before sinking into the scented water of the romantic private Jacuzzi with its beautifully tiled walls and remarkable ambiance.
Enhance your meals with herbs from the nearby gardens. Breakfast is self-catered at Adytum Sanctuary. Either enjoy a light meal in-suite from a well-stocked kitchen or visit a restaurant or grocery store to fill in your meal plans nearby.
Each suite is complete on its own feeling very much like an apartment or condo, and there is no main house entrance. Enjoy star gazing, the many hiking trails over nearly 16 acres, the use of the kayaks, and lovely contemplative spots over Adytum lands.
Shared spaces include the trails over the 16 acres, the back deck overlooking Lake Mayfield, the Tilton and Cowlitz Rivers, Ike Kinswa State Park, and the blueberry fields in the valley below. Enjoy the use of the outdoor kitchen, gas firebox, and patio furniture. Heading back toward the Christmas tree plantation, a pavilion beckons with Weber BBQ and firepit with games such as disc golf, cornhole toss, horseshoes, and more. The Fitness Center is well supplied with professional equipment and a far-infrared sauna for guest use.
